Do you have all your diamonds in your possession?
Some of the diamonds in our database are in house; however, most are still with the original cutter or dealer who listed them. You will find that no company with a list of more than a few hundred loose diamonds can possibly have them all in their possession. If a diamond is not in your possession, can you provide me with verification and pictures?
If you would like to pursue purchasing a diamond that is not currently in our possession, we are happy to provide an examination and expert photographs of the diamond (if available). Do you provide a warranty on your products?
No, we do not provide warranties. We recommend that you insure your purchase with an insurance company so that you are protected in case of loss or damage. We often recommend insuring your diamond through your home-owners insurance. Return to Top
Do you offer a cash discount on purchases?
Yes. If you wish to purchase with cash, you will receive a 2.3% discount on your total purchase. The most efficient payment method is the wire transfer, which will expedite your order. What is the difference between certified loose diamonds and uncertified diamonds?
Certified diamonds have had their quality examined and confirmed by a major laboratory. You will receive the certificate from a reputable laboratory and have the confidence of knowing that the quality of the diamond is accurate to its representation. Uncertified diamonds have not been graded by a major lab, and therefore, do not offer the security and accuracy that its counterpart does. What does clarity enhanced mean?
Clarity enhanced means that the diamond was altered to improve the clarity. It means that the stone has been fracture filled and sometimes laser drilled also. These stones are significantly cheaper than others because of this characteristic and it is our policy not to sell diamonds of these unacceptable qualities. Return to Top
Are any of the diamonds listed color or clarity enhanced?
It is our policy not to sell diamonds that have been artificially altered in this way. If by mistake an enhanced diamond is listed on our website, we will alert our customers at the time of inquiry and remove the listing from our database. Return to Top
What does 'Cut Grade' mean?
The cut grade indicated is a generalization based off the depth and table proportions as they compare to the American Standard Cut Grade Charts and is not indicative of the overall cut grade that will be awarded by the independent gemological laboratories.

In its most basic sense, cut grade refers to the balance between a stone's depth and table. Generally speaking, a better cut grade will give a stone better light performance. Ranges for cut grade are as follows:

I would prefer to pay for my purchase using a bank wire transaction but, I would feel more comfortable using my credit card first for protection.
We always want you to feel comfortable with your purchase. You can request for us to initially charge your card so that you can receive your purchase with no worries. Once you receive it and decide that you are keeping the item, submit the wire before the return policy is over and notify us of the transaction. The initial credit card transaction will be cancelled. Are you able to ship internationally and are there any additional fees?
Yes, we can ship your purchase internationally via FedEx which usually takes 2-4 days for delivery. If you are an international customer, please keep in mind that we only accept payment via bank wire transfer. Also, their will be an additional fee for shipping and insurance that is based on your location and the amount of your purchase. Is it possible to view the diamond prior to purchase?
If you would like to view the diamond prior to purchase you may choose from one of our two options. We can send the diamond to an accredited appraiser in your area for appraisal. With this method you are responsible for the examination fees of that appraiser. Should you decide to purchase the diamond we will release it to you for pick up from the appraiser's office. If you decide not to purchase the diamond you are responsible for the shipping fees of approximately $80; shipping fees vary based on the value of the diamond. You may also choose to have the diamond shipped directly to you using a credit card. To do this, we put a hold for the full amount of the diamond on your credit card. The monies are not and will not be removed from the card until the end of the 10-day return policy. If you are satisfied with the diamond you can chose to proceed with the credit card purchase or convert to a bank wire to take advantage of the cash discount. Should you decide not to purchase the diamond, you are again responsible for the approximate shipping fee of $40 and the cost of the return shipping. What is the return policy?
Abazias.com has a ten-day return policy on any diamond purchased starting from the day that you receive the stone. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your diamond purchase, we will refund the full purchase price. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your diamond purchase, we will refund the full purchase price less shipping fees. Do I have to pay any sales tax?

What are the shipping charges?
Abazias is proud to offer free shipping on all US orders! Diamonds and settings valued over $2000 are shipped Overnight UPS within the United States. Packages will be shipped via UPS or FedEx or USPS (for orders under $1000). Packages are double boxed and insured for your protection. All packages require an adult (21 and over) signature to be delivered. Diamonds and Settings requiring international shipping will be sent via Overnight FedEx, but will take approximately 3-5 business days for delivery. Will I receive the original certificate with my diamond?
All purchases of certified diamonds will come with the original copy of the certificate after the 10 day review period. Due to a risk of loss or damage the originals are not initially provided. Why did I find an item that appears to have an incorrect price?

Why do some of the pictures of the diamond settings have diamonds included and some of them do not?
Some of the images on our web site were provided to us by the jewelry maker and some of the images were made in house. Most of images that were provided to us were taken with the center diamond included. Please keep in mind that the center diamond is not included in the price listed for the setting. Return to Top
The picture that is displayed when I view an item is not correct.
Unless we have actually taken pictures of the diamond or setting in house, the pictures that appear on the web site are only sample representations of the actual item.
