Celebrating Life and Being Fabulous as a Woman
It is common knowledge that when you propose to a woman, you will want to have a diamond engagement ring to surprise her with. The trends for engagement rings may change from the types of settings to the color of the stones, but typically one associates diamonds with engagement rings. This idea is slowly widening to include new concepts for diamond rings to update the romantic notion of love with a more modern view.
The Ah-Ring
If you are single, don't despair over never owning a diamond ring. The Ah ring, standing for"Available and happy" was created by Divine Diamonds in New York. They are diamond rings worn on the pinky and used to signify a content single that is still in the market for a partner. The inside is engraved with the word "Ah."
Right-Hand Rings
Independent women who love to pamper themselves also buy diamond rings. To avoid confusion, the diamond ring is worn on the right hand either on the fourth finger or the pinky. It celebrates an independent and luxurious lifestyle.
Eternity Rings
These rings are for anniversaries or special occasions, like the birth of a child. They are diamond rings with stones set all around the band. Some people find them a bit unwieldy and choose half eternity rings, with stones only halfway around the band. It makes it easier to wear. If you get a full eternity ring, they are custom rings that cannot be easily resized whereas a half eternity ring can be resized.
