Jewelry Executives' Compensation Reasonable
The Chief executive officers of publicly held jewelry companies seem to be fairly compensated. The executives salaries are moderate and the compensation potential is has and ample upside via incentive programs. The jewelry executive's severance packages are reasonable as well with out being excessive. These major conclusions were made in an exclusive Executive Salary Study. This study was conducted by IDEX Online Research. The top five companies in each of these three categories retailer, suppliers, and online merchants were examined. Watch dog organizations claim that the corporate executive pay in the jewelry industry is far too much but IDEX Online Research does not believe this is true in this industry.Several financial benchmarks were compared by IDEX Online Research to get this information. The compensation levels for the industry executives vary widely and it varies significantly from year to year. This is based primarily on incentive compensation. It is difficult to use one or even several benchmarks to measure how companies' executives are compensated and some compensation is not reported or not reported on a regular basis. The new Securities and Exchange Commission rules there were implemented in 2006 should change that though. The compensations plans for CEOs are complex with many moving parts. This being said this analysis is purely quantitative and is based on financial bench marks that were used during their Wall Street Career.
