The diamond Christmas tree in Tokyo is a recreated style by Parisian flower boutique Claude Quinquaud and stands 16 inches tall. The diamond Christmas tree features preserved roses that set the background for the 400 diamonds from southern Africa and Australia. Department store workers have said that the backdrop of roses and the diamonds creates a beautiful illusion of dew on morning petals. The sparkle of the tree is created from the brilliance that is found in a combination small diamonds as well as diamonds that range in the carat weight of two to three carats. The 100 carat Christmas tree in Tokyo is just one of many ways to show that the holiday spirit is alive and well, especially for those with a taste for the more extravagant items in life.
