Fake Diamond Rings

As technology advances, there are also advances in the technology of fake diamonds for fake diamond rings. In the past, prior to the mid 20th century, there were low cost gemstones and glass that were used to make fake diamond rings. These particular fake diamond rings, such as the fake diamond rings of the Art Nouveau era, were actually designed more with the setting of the fake diamond rings in mind, rather than actually trying to create fake diamond rings that could pass for real diamond rings. This was to change, however, with the discovery in the 1930s of a fake diamond that was to be used to create fake diamond rings that were meant to pass for the real thing.

In the 1930s, scientists were working with zirconia, trying to create a stable form that could be used for heat resistance material, resulting in the discovery of the cubic chain form of zirconia, or cubic zirconia. This was not looked into for use in jewelry as fake diamonds for fake diamond rings until the 1970s.Soviet scientists began serious research resulting in the fake diamond form of cubic zirconia for fake diamond rings in 1973.By 1976 the fake diamond was available for commercial use in fake diamond rings.

Another, and more recent, fake diamond used in fake diamond rings is Moissanite.Moissanite is chemically known as silicon carbide (SiC), and has been known since 1894.Like cubic zirconia, this fake diamond used in fake diamond rings and other fake diamond jewelry, was not developed for commercial use until 1998.Moissanite does make better fake diamond rings than cubic zirconia, but in the end, it can create nothing more than fake diamond rings.

There are no fake diamond rings that can match up to real diamond rings. It is true that fake diamond rings, such as moissanite fake diamond rings, can be quite difficult for non-experts to spot immediately, and there are some finely made fake diamond rings available today. However, even the finest of fake diamond rings cannot match the scintillation and fire that is given off by real diamond rings.Of course, while looks aren’t everything, real diamond rings not only look better, but also all real diamond rings have a history and romance that no fake diamond rings could ever match.
