The two factors that affect the cost of a man’s engagement ring are the weight of the metal and the size of the stone or stones that are used in the ring. The weight of metal in a man’s engagement ring is usually heavier than a woman’s ring, so in this regard, this price can be somewhat higher. If you want to control the cost of the engagement ring opt for a plain band without any embellishments or a band that is narrow rather than wide. Consider the size of the stone that is used in the ring as well.
Engagement rings for men have definitely come into their own and are becoming a popular trend, but it is important to keep in mind that not all men like the idea of wearing such a ring. Before you buy one and propose make sure you find out ahead of time whether that special man in your life likes the idea of wearing an engagement ring.
