Recently reports were widely issued that the world’s largest diamond had been discovered. What seemed to be a whopping diamond weight 7,000 carats were emailed around the world from a diamond mine in South Africa. The diamond had a greenish cast and would certainly have made world wide news. As it turned out; however, the diamond was a large fake.
