Three people involved in an international jewelry theft were recently sentenced to seven years in jail for their involvement in a $40 million jewelry heist that took place in Tokyo in 2004. Among the items that were stolen was a necklace containing one hundred sixteen diamonds, with one of the diamonds being a 125-carat oval worth over $34 million dollars and many smaller gemstones worth two million dollars.
