wedding-rings.jpgTwelve years ago, a pair of diamond wedding rings were lost and were nowhere to be found. But on June 30th, 2008 a 10 year old boy, Cameron Delonde, dropped his toothbrush in the toilet and pulled out more than just the toothbrush, but the pair of diamond wedding rings as well.

The Delondes had owned the home in Chatham, Massachusetts for 12 years now and happened to find them by chance. Upon the discovery, he told his firefighter father about the rings and he contacted a real estate agent. Together, they were able to track down the daughter of the former home’s owners, Mary Trainor.

The owner of the diamond rings had passed away five years ago and the family had never been able to find the diamond rings. They had searched for the rings everywhere, but were never able to find them. All this time they were sitting in the s-curve of the toilet. The father said he understood how painful it could be to lose a family ring and he was determined to return the heirloom rings back to their rightful owners.
