18th Largest Diamond Found

Gem Diamonds Ltd announced on September 11, 2007 that they have discovered the 18^th largest diamond ever found. The diamond weighs in at a whopping 494 carats. The diamond was discovered at the Letseng Mine in Lesotho. The company also discovered the 15^th largest diamond that weighed for 603 carats and sold for $12.4 million.
