It seems as if love is truly blind, if the recent situation between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is anything to go by. Recent news reports from major publishing houses throughout the world reveal that Pattinson was all set to pop the question only a few days before the fling between Stewart and Rupert Sanders stumbled out into the open. In fact, according to these reports, Robert Pattinson and Stewart were out looking at engagement rings only two weeks before Stewart’s beans came spilling out into the public.
Looking at the small time gap, it is highly unlikely that while Robert Pattinson was considering buying an engagement ring and popping the question, Kristen Stewart was not already involved with Rupert Sanders or, at the very least, seriously attracted to him. In essence, the two Twilight stars were apparently on completely different wavelengths.
The news of the former couple looking at engagement rings came out as Neil Lane, a well known and high profile jeweler for various celebrities, revealed it all. Reportedly, Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were at Neil Lane’s Beverly Hills outlet only a few days ago. As per an employee at the store, when Robert and Kristen showed up the couple looked “so much in love”. The assistant at the store also specified that as Kristen tried on engagement rings, Pattinson could not help but stare at her. Kristen Stewart is known to have tried various gold rings with particularly exotic colored diamonds.
In addition to this, the situation is even worse for Robert Pattinson because it is believed that he was planning to create a custom engagement ring for Kristen Stewart. Pattinson and Stewart are known to have told Neil Lane that they would not be buying anything traditional because Robert would be designing a unique engagement ring especially for his love. Robert Pattinson’s budget for the project was known to be in the region of half a million American dollars. The couple is known to have had a long conversation with Neil Lane, telling him about their vision for the engagement ring while, at the same time, holding hands and almost cuddling.
Adding insult to injury is the fact that only a few days before this now public trip, Pattinson revealed to a magazine that he felt “ready for anything” with Stewart. He even accepted that they would be starting a family in the future. All these little tidbits of information reveal that Robert Pattinson was more into Kristen Stewart than vice versa, as the latter ended up cheating on the former with a man old enough to be her father.
It seems that Kristen Stewart cannot even use any excuse because her fling with Rupert Sanders is known to have run for some time. At first, the news broke out when Stewart was captured in pictures kissing Rupert Sanders in a car. This was followed by the cheating couple canoodling each other in Stewart’s Mini Cooper. Later, Kristen Stewart, even after the photos were taken, was seen up close and personal with Rupert Sanders at the Teen Choice Awards held in Los Angeles.
Having had enough, Pattinson finally walked out which resulted in Kristen Stewart issuing an apology which is said to have had no effect on Robert. A friend of his even revealed that he does not think he would ever go back to Kristen, as it has gone from her being the one to her stabbing him in the back.
Robert Pattinson is 26 years old while Kristen Stewart is four years younger at 22. The two worked together in the immensely popular Twilight series and have been dating each other for over three years now. It is worth mentioning that the two have captured the hearts and minds of many youngsters and, hence, have a huge fan following.
Rupert Sanders is 41 years old, which makes him almost twice the age of Kristen Stewart. Stewart and Sanders worked together in the recently released and successful Snow White and The Huntsman, where Stewart played Snow White and Sanders was the director. Rupert Sanders is also already married to Liberty Moss, a 33 year old British model.
