Celebrities are well aware that practically every moment of their lives is studied and analyzed. Stepping out of the door bearing a new ring, especially when said ring features diamonds and is worn on a certain finger, is certain to set tongues wagging. That was certainly the case when recently began sporting a new diamond band on her ring finger. Paris has most recently been linked with Benjii Madden of Good Charlotte and there has been speculation regarding whether the couple could be moving toward making their relationship permanent. The ring in question features a design with initials set in diamonds. The diamond studded initials appear to be B.M.To make matters even more interesting the object of Paris’ affections has also been spotted wearing a new ring as well. Benjii’s ring is set with diamonds and also features initials: PH, in his case.
In addition to the diamond initial ring that Paris has been seen sporting around town, she has also recently begun wearing another diamond ring as well, which many speculate was also presented to her by Benjii Madden. This ring features a double band of diamonds. In terms of style, the diamond ring does not actually resemble an engagement ring but the starlet has been seen wearing it on her engagement ring finger, further fueling speculation that the couple has become engaged and is just not ready to announce the engagement as of yet.
Paris certainly has demonstrated a history of enjoying the finer things in life. This would not be the first time the infamous heiress has donned an engagement ring, although she has yet to actually make a walk down the aisle. In the past, Paris was engaged to Paris Latsis. The young Greek shipping heir presented her with a diamond engagement ring in honor of their engagement that was reputedly worth $4.7 million. The ring featured a 24-carat diamond. It was widely reported that the stone in the engagement ring was so large that her fiancé at the time was forced to purchase a second, less showy engagement ring for Paris to wear as an everyday engagement ring, after the 24-carat show stopping ring began to cause Paris’ finger to hurt.
When the engagement did not work out, the stunning diamond engagement ring was auctioned off to raise money for charity. While the original price tag on the ring was speculated to be near the $5 million mark, when it was auctioned off it reputedly sold for only half that much. The money earned from auctioning off the ring went to assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina. Before her engagement to a man with the same name, Paris was also engaged to a male fashion model, Jason Shaw.
While Paris and Benjii have not yet confirmed that the diamond ring she is wearing on her left ring finger is an engagement ring it is certain to prove to be inspiration for future engagement rings around the world.
