Hollywood is full of glitz and glamour, much of which is fake and crafted solely as an illusion. In many cases, starts of the screen are actually lonelier than they would seem to be and often have publicist working overtime to keep this image going. Many regular people think that stars can date whoever they wish and lead happy and fulfilling lives, full of expensive jewelry and fancy cars. While the jewelry may be the case, many of them have trouble truly making time to meet their mates and often turn to fellow actors and actresses to find love and romance. Actors can empathize with each other regarding their hectic lifestyles and since they often have the same passion for their craft often get along with each other on the set rather well in many instances. Although not very common, romantic relationships on the big screen can lead to real life romance. Such is the case of Anna Paquin and her romantic interest on the HBO show, “True Blood”, Stephen Moyer. After spending some time together on the set of their hit show, they started a romantic relationship that has recently turned into a marriage.
Diamonds were the talk of the day as Anna Paquin wore a 50-carat necklace designed by famous jeweler to the stars, Neil Lane. It was a vintage piece designed for Anna to express a romantic-vibe for the special occasion. Mr. Lane also designed the diamond stud earrings that helped compliment her beautiful ¾ length gown. The gown was in the style of a Marilyn Monroe dress and was a halter topped masterpiece. Many stars attended the wedding including Elijah Wood and some of the stars of “True Blood” including Sam Trammell and Ryan Kwanten, which made the festivities more start-studded that could be imagined. The ceremony took place in Malibu at an undisclosed location, capping off a wonderful, whirlwind romance of two stars that met on the set and took their roles so seriously that they ended up together just like their characters, a true romance.
Moyer proposed to Anna in Hawaii on the beach with a beautiful platinum ring with an antique flair designed by Cathy Waterman, who was also responsible for designing their wedding bands, also made of the exquisite material. Platinum is a great choice for beauty and durability and can be expensive, but well worth the cost, especially for actors who are doing very well for themselves. Moyer and others at the wedding ended up jumping into the pool soon after the wedding finished for a lively swim in the mansion’s beautiful seaside pool, a very relaxing day of love and fun, indeed. Who would have thought, “Bill” would be out in the sun with his beloved? Vampire, he is most certainly not, but he plays one convincingly on HBO for the millions of fans for their show, which has quite a bit of romance and love as well as violence. Chalk one up to the beauty of romance and love on the set of a popular show seen by millions; at least we know the feelings expressed are truly real between “Bill” and “Sookie”.
