It has come to light that Kris Humphries, the soon to be ex husband of Kim Kardashian, is expecting a return of the engagement ring that he gave to Kim Kardashian. According to reports, the justification of Kim Humphries is simply that he deserves to get his engagement ring back because the marriage only lasted for a paltry 72 days. The engagement ring that Kris Humphries gave to Kim Kardashian is highlighted by a 20 carat center diamond and costs a considerable amount of money.
Kris Humphries’s lawyers reportedly want to depose Kim Kardashian on video and this is a fact that is being hotly contested by the latter’s lawyers. However, the judge, who is in charge of the bitterly contested divorce, has allowed the Kris Humphries legal team to go ahead and depose the reality TV star Kim Kardashian on tape. Even so, certain sources have revealed that Kim Kardashian’s legal team headed by the hotshot lawyer, Laura Wasser is still going to contest the video taping of the deposition sessions. It is worth mentioning here that it is normal procedure for depositions to be recorded for future references in many such legal cases.
Recently, Kim Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, revealed that there are major disputes between the former couple over jewelry and, according to many people in the inner circle she was referring to the sparkling diamond engagement ring that Kris Humphries gave to Kim Kardashian. As mentioned earlier, Kris Humphries’s legal team is going to use the 72 days’ life of the marriage as proof that the marriage was based on pure fraud and deceit. It should also be noted at this point that it was Kim Kardashian who filed for divorce as opposed to Kris Humphries.
One source even went on to state that Kim Kardashian should turn over the engagement ring as it’s not like she would ever wear it again. The source went on further to state that Kris Humphries has realized that Kim Kardashian values materialistic things much more than anything else including people.
The deposition lead by Kris Humphries’s legal team is expected to focus a lot around a white Ferrari that the couple received as a gift from a very wealthy Malaysian businessman for their marriage. Apparently, Kris Humphries has been wondering about the whereabouts of the white Ferrari which is worth around 325, 000 American dollars and was given to them both. According to Kris Humphries, he was at Kim Kardashian’s house when the car was delivered to both of them but claims that his wife kept sole ownership of it. As per Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian used the expensive white Ferrari exclusively and extensively.
The dates for the deposition are still being discussed by the legal teams of both the parties, with Kim Kardashian’s legal team saying that she is busy with the shooting of her upcoming season of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’. The retort from Kris Humphries or his legal team was priceless as he said that if Kim Kardashian brings her camera crew along for the deposition then the problem would be solved quite succinctly.
It is expected that the legal wrangle the two are involved in will continue for a considerable amount of time before it even shows signs of concluding.
