The romantic picture, which is in black and white, shows Kate Bosworth wearing her engagement ring on her left hand’s ring finger. In the tweet, Kate Bosworth also revealed that the picture was taken by her “husband to be” and that she wanted to thank everyone for their engagement wishes.
Since Kate Bosworth let the word “fiancé” slip with reference to her beau Michael Polish in a blog post, wishes have been pouring in from all corners of her fan base. The blog post by Kate Bosworth was posted on Vogue.com for their popular Summer Travel Diaries section and described her and her fiancé’s trip to South Korea. The reference to Michael Polish as her fiancé was related to Kate Bosworth describing their first day in South Korea when they went to visit the Changdeokgung Palace. The South Korean trip fell just short of the couple’s one year anniversary.
However, since Kate Bosworth revealed that Michael Polish was her fiancé, she went on to confuse her many fans by deciding to wear her engagement ring on the ring finger of her right hand. The engagement ring is said to be special as it is inspired by vintage designs.
Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish met each other professionally through the film Big Sur. Michael Polish was the director of the movie while Kate Bosworth was the star. The movie will be out later this year. Michael Polish, on the other hand, is 12 years older than Kate Bosworth at 41. He is a director and his career credits include films such as For Lovers Only, Stay Cool, The Smell of Success, The Astronaut Farmer and Northfork amongst others.
