Apparently, Jennifer Lopez really likes diamonds and a lot more than anyone ever really knew. It was recently reported that Jennifer declined to return $50,000 worth of diamonds that had been lent to her for an event. The practice of lending diamonds to celebrities is one that is fairly common, particularly for big events such as the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards. In most cases, once the event is finished, the celebrity returns the diamonds. In this case, the event in question was a fashion show and it seems there may have been some confusion regarding the jewelry. Jennifer’s manager has stated that the jewels were offered to her in exchange for her hosting the event. There were several other celebrities present at the event, including Ellen Pompeo and Gwen Stephani, both of whom also borrowed jewelry to wear during the event. The difference is that both other women returned the jewelry that was lent to them while Jennifer did not. Representatives of the Swiss billionaire who loaned out the jewelry insist that while there is no ill will regarding the star keeping the jewelry, they have also emphatically stated that they did not offer the jewelry. Instead, they claim that Jennifer’s manager called to inform them that she had decided to keep it.
Regardless of exactly how it happened, there is no denying that Jennifer Lopez obviously has a fondness for diamonds. It is reputed that she now has a large private collection of diamonds that is worth millions of dollars. The diamonds included in her collection are said to be the most brilliant diamonds that can be found and in many instances, the rarest diamonds as well.
Of course, as most people know, one of the most prized diamonds that Jennifer has owned over the years is the stunning pink diamond engagement ring that was presented to her by Ben Affleck. The completely natural diamond is said to have weighed more than 6 carats and was worth more than a million dollars. Despite the fact that she and Affleck never actually made it down the aisle, she has not gone without diamonds over the years.
Clearly, she has a particular penchant for colored diamonds because the massive pink diamond that Affleck presented her was certainly not her last. Over the years she has personally purchased several naturally colored diamonds in a variety of shapes and sizes. Reportedly, she is fond of adding colored diamonds to her collection in order to have shades that will compliment her wardrobe.
Pink diamonds are still said to be among her favorites, even though she no longer wears the pink diamond engagement ring and has since replaced it with a different engagement ring presented by her current hubby, Marc Anthony. She has been spotted wearing a diamond pendant set with pink diamonds that form the shape of a flower.
As her favorite color is reported to be blue, she also has a collection of blue diamonds in a variety of different shades, including ocean blue, icy blue and sky blue.
She also seems very fond of diamond earrings and wears a variety of different styles ranging from hoop and dangle earrings to diamond studs. Regardless of the style of earring, most of her collection tends to include a diamond centerpiece.
Her love for diamonds has not stopped at jewelry either. She has also been known to sport diamonds in hair accessories as well. One particular notable piece was a barrette set with diamonds and measuring about five inches long and two inches wide.
No doubt, there are two pieces of jewelry in her collection at the current time that her favorites. Following her disastrous engagement to Ben Affleck, she subsequently began dating and later married fellow crooner, Marc Anthony. When the couple married it was relatively fast and unlike the massive pink engagement ring that Affleck presented her, it seems there was not much time for Anthony to give her an engagement ring. One year following their whirlwind nuptials, Anthony corrected the matter and presented his bride with a $1 million anniversary present in the form of a 8.5 carat diamond engagement ring.
The massive ring is not the only jewelry that Anthony has presented to his bride during their marriage. Following the birth of their twins he also presented his wife with an eight carat canary yellow diamond ring as well. It has been said that the ring cost $300,000 and that Jennifer was completely stunned by the more than generous gift.
Only time will tell whether Jennifer Lopez will be able to top those stunning pieces of jewelry with items that are even larger and more spectacular. If history is indication, they certainly will not be the last diamonds that we see her wearing.

I really think that people like her should by something that looks just as nice and give the rest of the money to people who have no WATER to drink and bathe in. The difference between the haves and the have nots is nausiating and horrifying. People like http://www.rebekahgreen.com are actually doing things to funnel resources to those who need it. You can still look beautiful, but not for the ridiculously over-blown pricetag.

It is not Jennifer`s money it is God`s money,everything belongs to him and she can at least see where there is a need and sow the money to hungry people,because she will reap more back,it is a biblical principle.Please Jen dont be selfish???CURSHIN SEPTOO,P.E., SOUTH AFRICA.Please God, and not yourself.
