Everywhere you look these days is news about Chris Brown and Rihanna. Nobody knows the details of the horrible fight that occurred between the two but after alarming police photos showed a badly bruised Rihanna, the couple decided wisely to spend some time apart. It seems, however, that time apart does not mean time without contact, as Brown showered Rihanna with lavish diamond jewelry and an iPod touch delivered to the singer for her twenty first birthday, which she spent at home in Barbados with friends and family. Rumors are rapidly circulating the Internet speculating what occurred between the couple, but few facts have actually been confirmed. Brown has entered into anger management classes, but asserts a firm belief that both parties should be doing so. The public outcry against Brown helped fuel his decision to enter the program, and he seems to struggle to hold in his side of the argument out of respect for Rihanna and a desire to not interfere with an investigation or to harm either singer’s career.

One thing that is well publicized is that the couple is still very much in love. While it is highly debated whether this is good or bad, as an outsider it is simply a truth. While the ring was, until now, the closest the public got to an admission that the pair were actually a couple, their status is now more unknown than ever. While everyone seems to have an opinion on whether the pair should stay together, the question nobody can answer is whether they have even broken up.
