Betty, the girl-next-door, gets left to nurse her broken heart as Veronica Lodge steals the prize! She may be crowing now, but will Archie be able to satisfy Veronica’s luxury tastes? As a modern girl, Veronica will probably want something a little more up-to-date than just a single solitaire diamond engagement ring. She might have even already researched the most famous engagement rings worn by today’s celebrities and decided on which design she wants, regardless of what Archie can afford.
What Will The Ring Look Like?
If Archie had chosen Betty, no doubt any romantic proposal would do, and even a makeshift ring from a tab off a Coke can would have suited Betty. However, Veronica is going to be more interested in the ring, after all she no doubt plans to show it off to Betty and gloat.
