I'm so excited, I have always shopped for pretty jewelry for my little girls, but baby and children jewelry is always so blagh and I hate the fake stuff. Finally, it looks like Fashion is catching up and I will finally be able to find something suitable for my precious girls. I just found this link, but shhh its in a trade publication, I don't think they'd want us 'normal people' to know whats coming....

Did you see in that article that they have found high concentrations of lead in kids costume jewelry?!? I think its better to take the hit and give your kid a pair of nice earrings than a bunch of cheapo pairs.... even if you know they'll probably lose them in the sand box. I'd rather that over risking lead exposure!

I think that's a bit ridiculous. I do think that necklaces and bracelets are very nice and thoughtful gifts though, or even earrings if the parents choose to pierce ears that young.

Now those are somewhat interesting! Although I would be a bit worried over them learning bad habits, but a neat safeguard for other jewelry!

The bracelet looks really cute. Although, i feel a pair of diamond stud earrings like this will be equally good lest your baby hurts herself with the dangling charms.
