Default Heart Shaped Box

So I really wanted a heart shaped diamond as an engagement ring, but my fiance thinks that it would be a bad choice for such an important. He may be right that it would be better as another piece of jewelry later, but I just think it's adorable. Any opinions?

I think you should go with whatever you like the most. But I do hope that you can convince the boy too. Maybe you could come to an agreement? Also, I would say think long term, will you still love it 20 years from now?

Many couples decide to trade up later on. If you would like a heart shaped diamond now, go for it! If your taste changes later on (which will probably happen), you could trade up to a different shape diamond, or make the heart shape diamond into a pendant and purchase a new center stone for your engagement ring.

Have you gone into a store to try on different rings? You might find that you don't like the heart shape as much in a ring when you try it on. OR he might fall in love with it when he sees it on! I would try on many different shapes before making a final decision, just to see what you like.

Default hi

I don't think the heart shape diamond in a ring would be as alluring as in a pendant. Nothing beats the brilliance of a round or an emerald shape in a ring. The heart shape sounds good but i am not too sure about how it will look on a ring. Although the heart shaped pendant is still a hot favorite.
