So, I've been looking at colored diamonds and I've seen diamonds referred to as "natural color diamonds."
I have a vague sense that the other kind ("unnatural color diamonds" I suppose) are something to be avoided. However, if somebody could explain the difference or what to look out for while buying, that would be great.
Natural colored diamonds happen naturally. They form with the color. Unnaturally colored diamonds have been treated to make the diamond into the color they are being presented as.
