I WOULD CHOOSE THE 2.03 PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND RING AS A GIFT TO MY WIFE MECHELLE. WE WERE HIGH SHCOOL SWEETHEARTS AND DATED FROM 1980 TO 1984 WERE MARRIED AUGUST 10, 1985 AND AT THAT TIME I WORKED AT MCDONALDS AND COULD ONLY PURCHASE A LITTLE DIAMOND DUST WRAPPED IN A 10K GOLD BAND. WE NEVER HAD A REAL HONEYMOON, IF I COULD PRESENT THIS RING TO HER I WOULD FLY HER TO LA/HOLLYWOOD,CA, TO THE STAR WALK OF FAME AND PRESENT HER NEW STAR THE RING) SURROUNDED BY ROSES FORMED IN THE SHAPE OF A STAR, AS A NEW UNVAILING. SHE IS A MY SHINING STAR AND DESERVES SO MUCH MORE THAN I COULD EVER GIVE TO HER. I WANT HER TO KNOW HOW MUCH OF BLESSING SHE IS TO ME FOR SHE IS THE PREMERIE OF MY LIFE.

THE 2 CARATS REPRESENTS THE TWO WONDERFUL CHILDREN WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH, THE TWO GENERATIONS THAT WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED AND NEXT TWO GENERATIONS WE HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO AND MANY, MANY, MORE TO COME. . . .

SINCERLY,

Two years ago, my parent's house was broken into. All of my Mom's jewelery was stolen. Some of the most important pieces stolen were her Mother's Ring. My Grandmother's Pearl necklace and Mother's Ring (which were given to my Mom)and my Mom's Engagement Ring. I think she was most upset about her Engagement Ring. Like most people, my parents were under insured for my Mom's jewelery. Not because they were careless, but never realized how much the value of the items had grown since they were purchased over 40 years ago.
I would love to win Engagement Ring ENG-SS-13-4546 yellow gold with a 1.0 Ct. Round FS12 center stone for my Mom in a size 9.5. The two side stones could be representative of her two children, my brother and me, and the center stone would represent the love she has shared with my Father for almost 41 years now.
I would present the ring to my Dad who could give it to her on their 41st. Anniversary which will be November 27, 2007. I know it would mean so much to my Mom to have another Engagement Ring and it would also mean the world to my Dad to be able to place a new beautiful ring on my Mom's finger.
If I won, I would probably try to arrange a small anniversary party for them which would provide the perfect setting for my Dad to present this wonderful gift to my Mom.

We met back in 1991, went out on a dinner date, talked and I would see him at the local bar almost every week. He was the bartender. So the bar closed right after hurricane Andrew, in 1992. He came by my work place several times and missed me, because I was not there. To me it was like he flew away with the storm. Ten years passed..... One night I was at another club with some friends and we crossed each other at the club. Our eyes met for some time, but we each kept going our way. About two months after that I went to Happy Hour and the moment I walked in there he was talking with my friends(who are all teachers)
and he looks straight at me, I knew exactly who he was. He came right over and asked if he could have a word with me,he claimed he knew the face, but could not identify the place. He asked me where I taught because, I could have been his nephew's teacher. So I smiled and said nope you want me to tell you where i know you from(he said oh no). We talked and dated since then Jan.2002. Today, we are engaged, which he proposed at dinner in the Cinderela's Castle in Orlando, FL by the window in front of fireworks!!
We now also have a 2year old princess. Life takes many turns, but ours was one to share.

My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years now. After struggling to make ends meet for the first few years, we decided that the only way we would ever be able to comfortably support ourselves and our children was if we were to return to school and get our degrees. So we made some financial sacrifices, and we both enrolled in college. He has worked so hard, and been there by my side to help me through my days, to share equally in household responsibilities, and raising our children. He graduates in May and I am so proud of him! I would love to be able to give him a token of my appreciation on his graduation day, I think he would love the men's Seiko kinetic titanium watch, and it would be such a nice surprise.

You hear a lot about sacrifices moms make. My mother is the world to me and my sister, just like I'm sure all mothers are to their children. We were raised by her and suffered through the divorced children syndrome, but you would never know it. She insured that she never brought us into any of their arguments, even to the point of not draining him dry with child support as he could not afford much. She worked and had a cleaning business on the side, which we helped out with and gave us extra money. She was a cop, and changed locations to be closer to home. She worked her way to be Chief of Police in the small town we lived in and began a youth group, that we became a part of. She actively had the teen club running for the area kids and even invited the more delinquent teens to join, and many of them today, return to thank her for her efforts and assistance. She communicated with us throughout our growing years, on levels that we understood and was always honest with us. She gave us those old time values. This helped insure that we stayed away from drugs and grew up pretty good. She could not afford college for us, but pushed us to get jobs to pay for it ourselves and assisted with applying for scholarships. Today my sister and I both have degrees and pretty good jobs. Both of us are married, and my mom has 3 grandkids. She is funny and raised us surrounded in humor, which gave us a good outlook on life. She is remarried to a wonderful guy for 17 years now. During her life she had a miscarriage, breast cancer (her sister died of breast cancer) and early hysterectomy. She still struggles and sacrifices as our step dad became disabled and she still works and supports them. Through all of this, she has always had a great outlook, very positive, always happy and smiling. She bought my wedding ring and my husbands as we could not afford it and she found a deal from one of her overtime jobs as security in a jewelry store and made a deal and worked for the price. I would like to give her the Sapphire and Diamond Vintage Engagement Ring (Stock Number: ENG-SS-18-2354) with accompanying diamond (the nicest one, I don't know much about those things, so I will leave it to you experts). She has always loved the antique style and is a lover of silver. My mom is also a true believer in Santa Claus, yes still!!!!! I would love to give this to her in a stocking delivered from the North Pole, and she believes its Christmas all year long (yes she does, you can tell, her tree is up all year long!!!!) It would mean a great deal to give something to her to show how much she affected so many lives in a very positive way, not just her own kids, but many many others.
